SUMMARY:Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday Parade – Will You ?
DESCRIPTION:February 13, 2024 is Mardi Gras/Fat Tuesday!  \nWill you organize a parade or what for this occasion?  For more information and/or to organize/co-organize this event contact Pam Maslin, Activities Director.\nLast year a Parade was organized.  The Parade participants, some of whom wore themed attire, were either walking or rode on their decorated bicycles/golf carts and tossed beads and treats to the watchers.  They lined up at the clubhouse around 5pm before heading out on the streets in the park at 5:30pm.  Mardi Gras style music was played with some parade participants dancing along the way.  Parade watchers brought their lawn chairs to the curb and enjoyed this fun parade.  Some watchers even dressed in Mardi Gras attire (even if just a hat and/or mask).  Some watchers even turned the tables and tossed candy to the parade participants!!  The parade ended back at the clubhouse where all were invited to enjoy New Orleans Style baked goods, coffee and punch.  Lots of fun!\nStay tuned for more information after an organizer becomes available.\n
